Mouse Paint Mixing Colors bonanza

Mixing Colors-

Today we read the book Mouse paint written by Ellen Stoll Walsh. The book is great for little ones its very simple language and beautifully colored pictures. The story is about three white mice that have been hiding from a cat on white paper so the cat cannot see them. One day they find three jars of paint red, yellow, and blue. So long story short they start to mix the colors and come up with different colors. My kids love the story of these mischievous little mice. I planned an art activity afterwards that I found on Pintrest (My go to spot 😉) I will put a link to my Pinterest board at the bottom of the post. The activity included two rolling pins, bubble wrap, aluminum trays, paper and paint of course. I wrapped the rolling pins in the bubble wrap and I squeezed the paint out onto the paper so it is easier to roll the pins and mix the paint. My kids LOVVVEED using the bubble wrap I mean who doesn’t love bubble wrap I am 26 years old and still can’t help myself to pop a couple bubbles hahaha 😊 So yea bubble wrap and paint they had a blast and got to see with their own eyes how the colors change when mixed together! And bonus I got almost everything but the paint and paper and the local Dollar TREEE in my Oprah voice !!!  So yea try it out and leave a comment on how it turned out.
